PITTI IMMAGINE: RAIMONDO ROSSI AKA RAY MORRISON NAMED AMONG TOP TEN MEN'S STYLE ICONS

At the prestigious Pitti Immagine, a biannual gathering of the fashion elite in Florence, Raimondo Rossi, also known as Ray Morrison, has been named as one of the top ten style icons in men's fashion.

The most important platform for men's fashion worldwide is an event held twice a year, in January and June, in Florence. Known as Pitti Immagine or Pitti Uomo, it has been attracting the most influential people from the men's fashion industry globally for decades. All the leading photographers in the world, from magazines like Vogue, GQ, The New York Times, WWD, NZZ, Men’s Health, Esquire, Vanity Fair, and many others, flock to Florence twice a year to capture the street style of the most charismatic figures in men's style. Thus, various celebrities from the men's fashion universe, such as Nick Wooster, Mariano di Vaio, Brunello Cucinelli, and many others, consistently show up in Florence twice a year for business meetings and to meet journalists from all over the world.

Among the most significant magazines attending Pitti Uomo, as we just mentioned, is the Swiss magazine and newspaper NZZ, also defined on Wikipedia as the "Newspaper of records" for its professionalism, seriousness, and the quality of its journalists. The newspaper has more than a century of history behind it. Among the most experienced journalists in the field is Jeroen van Rooijen. Mr. Jeroen has compiled a list of the 10 most important and charismatic style icons of men's style. We list them here, and of these 10, four are Italian. It's a pleasure for us Italians to see four in the top ten.

Here is the list of Top 10 Men's Style Icons according to NZZ Magazine:

Guillaume Bo from Paris

Angelo Flaccavento from Palermo

Brunello Cucinelli from Solomeo

Nigel Cabourn from Newcastle upon Tyne

Roberto Malizia from Melbourne

Gerold Brenner from Zürich

Lourens Gebhardt from Windhoek

Ray Morrison from Rome

Ulisses de Melo from Barcelona

Lino Ieluzzi from Milan

We are particularly pleased to see Raimondo Rossi, whom we had already followed for his work in photography, having been mentioned by Rolling Stone as “one of the most original authors in his field”. Here, he is also noted for his style, which, as stated by the Swiss journalist, “changes direction every season”. This demonstrates an increasingly significant creativity in the men's fashion universe.
