RAFFAELE TOMMASO ROSSI

"If you have a dream, just do it."

Meet the talented young man who distinguished himself in modeling and acting.

Hi Raffaele, thank you for your time. Tell us something about yourself. How did your career in fashion start? Why fashion?

Hi everyone! My career in fashion started in Perugia, my city. There was a project and they were looking for models for a video and a photo shoot, I was selected and it was such a nice project. I chose to follow the love I feel for clothes, and so what better world if not the world of fashion and all things related to it, like posing for photos, something that I love doing.

Do you remember your first photoshoot? Tell us something about it, how old were you?

Okay, if we talk about my first serious photoshoot it was 3 years ago, more or less, instead if we talk about posing or staying in front of a camera, well, due to my dad's huge love for photos I was born with a camera stuck into my body. Anyway, I had just turned 16, so it was May, and they chose me for a project related to fashion. I was selected to represent the sense of dressing to build our personality when we are teens, how fashion can be related to structuring our identity in modern society.

What do you consider your greatest weakness as a model? And in your daily life?

Honestly I can't judge myself, people who I work with will let me know my weakness, of course we all have one. About my daily life I can say that I'm a bit too lazy, I used to train everyday but now I've got a bit too much into the quarantine mood and I spend a lot of time sleeping.

What are you doing to improve on it?

At the moment I'm doing nothing to change but as soon as we are be able to go back to the gym and parks I'll start training hard.

What are your goals?

My goals are to finish studying and then focus on my passions, becoming able to dedicate time to every single one of them: fashion, music, and fitness.

Do you also do fashion shows?

No, I haven't done any fashion shows yet because focused more on doing videos or photos for magazines, and I have to finish school before moving to another city. But I'd like to, why not.

Tell us something about your passions. I know you like music, do you see yourself as a musician in the future?

Yes I love music and I also love writing and producing beats, so maybe it could be an interesting job to start doing. I already have a few friends in the world of music and I would like to join too as a rapper.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I see myself as a happy man. Probably not with children and not living with my family. I'm a very lonely person, I mean I like to do things on my own, without the help of anyone. For that reason, whatever I'll be doing, I'll be doing it on my own, and everything I achieve will be the consequence of my work.

Any advice for your peers?

If you have a dream, just do it. But remember, if your hands don't get dirty and if you don't dedicate all your time for your passion, you won't be able to achieve it the way you wanted. That being said, thanks for inviting me to be part of this amazing magazine, I hope you all have an amazing life.
